When I Decided to Make Peach Rosé Winesicles

It all started one summer evening when I was sipping a glass of rosé while cutting up peaches for the kids’ snacks. As I stood there juggling mom duties and dreams of a leisurely happy hour, it hit me — why not combine the two?

Enter peach rosé winesicles. I blended ripe, juicy peaches with a splash of rosé and a bit of orange juice, then poured the mixture into popsicle molds (12 popsicle molds are really great for these because honestly… who wants only one?)

Freezing them was the hardest part because I was so excited to taste one… or two or three. When I finally did, it was perfection — fruity, refreshing, and just boozy enough to feel like a treat. They’ve become my go-to indulgence for those rare, peaceful summer moments when the kids are distracted, and I can savor something just for me.

Here’s my fave non boozy popsicle recipes (all healthy) too:

FAQ for Peach Rosé Adult Popsicles

  1. Can you make them with other wines?
Absolutely! While rosé adds a lovely fruity and floral touch, you can experiment with other wines like sparkling prosecco for a bubbly twist or a light, fruity white wine such as sauvignon blanc. Red wine can work too, but it gets weird honestly. Ideally, stick with lighter varieties like pinot noir.
  2. Will the alcohol prevent the popsicles from freezing?
If you use too much alcohol, the popsicles may not freeze completely. The key is to keep the alcohol content low — about 1/4 to 1/2 cup of wine per batch (around 2-3 cups of total mixture) works well for a firm, yet deliciously boozy popsicle.
  3. How long do they take to freeze?
Typically, peach rosé winesicles take around 4-6 hours to fully freeze, depending on your freezer’s settings. I recommend freezing them overnight to be sure they’re perfectly solid.
  4. Can I make them kid-friendly?
Of course! Just skip the wine and replace it with sparkling water, peach juice, or a splash of lemonade for a fun, fruity treat that everyone can enjoy.
  5. What other fruits pair well with rosé for winesicles?
Peaches are amazing, but strawberries, raspberries, watermelon, and even mangoes are fantastic options. You can mix and match fruits to create your own signature rosé winesicle flavor!

Homemade Peach Rosé Winesicle Recipe

Ingredients:

Instructions:

Put all ingredients in the blender, couldn’t be easier!
