It’s so Easy to Make Homemade Popsicles

Making homemade popsicles is surprisingly simple and requires minimal time and effort. All you need are a few fresh ingredients, a blender, and popsicle molds like this 12-mold set or a smaller 6 mold set. I actually like the smaller sets because then we can make new flavors every couple of days.

Just blend your favorite fruits, yogurt, or juice, pour the mixture into molds, and pop them in the freezer. In a few hours, you have a delicious, wholesome treat ready to enjoy.

The best part is how easy it is when you have delicious family favorite recipes on hand like this one, that take mere minutes to make!

When I Started Making Healthy Homemade Strawberry Lemonade Popsicles

I started making healthy homemade strawberry lemonade popsicles when I realized how quickly store-bought ones were adding up. I wanted to give my kids healthier popsicles without all the artificial flavors and sugars, but spending $6 or more per six-pack wasn’t sustainable.

With three kids, those packs disappear in no time! It made perfect sense to start making them at home, where I could use fresh strawberries, a touch of agave syrup (which is low glycemic but still super sweet and I love how it combines with fruit flavors), and real lemon juice. Not only did it save money, but the kids loved them even more because they got to help create their own delicious treats. It was a win for their health and my wallet!

So here’s a few more recipes so you’re set all summer!
